Bedtime ramblings from the middle child

My middle daughter Olivia always comes up with the funniest lines when I’m putting her down for bed.  When we were on vacation my oldest daughter, Gabriella, got bit by a hermit crab in a pet store.  That night when I was putting Olivia down to bed I asked her what her favorite part of vacation was.  In a real monotone voice she says, “When the crab bit Gabriella.”  What’s up with that?!

Then I asked her a couple nights ago what she wanted to be when she grows up.   She said a mommy.  So I asked her what would she do if she were a mommy and she says, “Drive.”  Then I asked her what else she would do if she were a mommy.  This time she paused for a minute and in her little monotone voice she says, “Tell them not to do things”.  So according to Olivia the only prerequisites for being a mom are driving and telling kids not to do things.  Easy enough.
